PT - Warehouse Worker
3D Cabinets by design s looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team. This position is on the warehouse floor, processing orders by organizing and accepting shipments while keeping the warehouse clean and safe at all times.
The ideal candidate has experience working in an environment that can be cold and hot during different seasons. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly.
Responsibilities
Inventory:
- Receive shipments of cabinets
- Maintain an inventory list of all shipments and deliveries
- Assist with the pickup of cabinets by contractors or deliver as required.
- Check all deliveries for accuracy and report any defective products as discovered.
- Maintain thorough notes and paperwork.
- Ability to use a fork lift an advantage.
- Ensure a safe warehouse environment by keeping an organized warehouse and workstation
- Alerting supervisors of any concerns or safety hazards
- Completing continuing education for safety and hazards.
- Review any complaints and notify the Warehouse manager of on-going shipping or receiving issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain a log of all maintenance required equipment - including company trucks, forklifts and any other mechanical equipment
- Schedule all maintenance and notify manager of out of service vehicles
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Prior experience working with inventory control systems is preferred
- Prior knowledge of warehouse paperwork and experience counting inventory and orders is preferred
- Knowledge of and familiarity with any warehouse management system
- Experience operating certain power equipment is a plus
- Must be able to bend, stand reach, pull, lift and carry items in the warehouse
- Must have a clean driving record
